How to fix Discord Connection Mismatch or Not Syncing
If your Discord presence is not syncing or shows a mismatch, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
1. Open your redr.lol dashboard and navigate to the Connections tab.
2. Click the 'Disconnect' button next to Discord.
3. Open your Discord App, go to Settings -> Authorized Apps, and revoke access for 'redr.lol'.
4. Return to your redr.lol dashboard and click 'Connect Discord' again.
5. When the Discord authorization prompt appears, verify you are logged into the correct Discord account in your browser.
6. Authorize the application. Your presence should now begin syncing within 60 seconds.
How to fix Profile Audio/Music Not Playing
Browsers have strict autoplay policies that sometimes block background audio. Here is how to fix it:
1. Ensure that 'Background Audio Enabled' is toggled ON in your Customization -> Audio settings.
2. Some browsers block audio until the user interacts with the page. We have an 'Enter Screen' feature for this. Go to Settings -> Visuals, and enable the 'Enter Screen'.
3. Set a custom 'Enter Screen Text' (e.g., 'Click to enter').
4. When visitors load your page, they will see the enter screen, and clicking it will satisfy the browser's interaction requirement, allowing audio to autoplay perfectly.
How to fix Background Video not looping or displaying
If your background video is failing to load or loop:
1. Check the file size. Videos must be under 15MB for optimal performance. Compress the video if necessary.
2. Ensure the format is .mp4 or .webm. We highly recommend .webm for better quality and smaller file sizes.
3. In your dashboard, re-upload the video through the UploadThing widget.
4. If it still doesn't play, check if you have a conflicting Theme active. Some themes override custom backgrounds. Try setting your theme to 'None' or 'Transparent'.
How to claim your profile URL
To claim your custom URL (e.g., redr.lol/yourname):
1. Create an account. Your initial username will be your profile URL.
2. If you want to change it, go to Dashboard -> Account Settings.
3. Enter your desired username in the 'Username' field.
4. The system will check if it's available. If it is, click 'Save Changes'. Note: You can only change your username once every 14 days unless you have Premium.
How to redeem a Premium Code
Received a premium promo code? Here's how to apply it:
1. Navigate to the `/redeem` page (or click Redeem from your user dropdown).
2. Enter your 14-character promo code (e.g., REDR-XXXX-XXXX).
3. Click 'Redeem Code'.
4. If valid, your account will be instantly upgraded. You may need to refresh your dashboard to see the Premium features unlocked.
